Short Biography

Mr. Brouillette works in the firm’s Civil Litigation Group, where he specializes in eminent domain, insurance defense, construction law and general commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brouillette served as a law clerk for Presiding Judge Leslie H. Southwick at the Mississippi Court of Appeals, as well as being in private practice in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Brouillette has extensive litigation experience representing clients in both state and federal court, as well as defending claims against a Fortune 5 client. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mr. Brouillette received his B.A. in Political Science from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, where he was an active member in numerous campus activities, including being the Editorials Editor for The Conglomerate and a soloist for the Centenary College Choir. He received his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1999, where he was the Magister of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, a member of the Moot Court Board and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law and Criminal Law Reform Seminar. While at Mississippi College, Mr. Brouillette participated in the Whittier College National Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition in Whittier, California.
